Endodontics Referral

Alex is a UK trained ‘Specialist Endodontist’, a protected title reserved for use only by those who have been assessed to have met strict clinical criteria set out by the General Dental Council in the field of Endodontics. Alex is happy to accept referrals for all aspects of endodontic care, including root canal treatment, root canal retreatment, file and post removal, perforation repair, apical microsurgery and the management of resorption.

He has previously completed a four year Clinical Masters degree in Endodontology with distinction, treating patients with complex root canal needs referred to Guy’s Dental Hospital from dentists across Greater London and the wider South East. He has worked in dental practices in London and the South West over the last 13 years and has been involved in the teaching of endodontics to undergraduate dentists at King’s College London Dental School. He is also a published author in the Journal of Endodontics.

Alex is focused on providing high quality treatment with the latest materials and techniques, doing all his treatments with a microscope. He attained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree in 2013 and subsequently completed a Diploma in Postgraduate Dentistry through Bristol University prior to completing his Endodontic Clinical Masters programme (MClinDent). In addition, Alex has passed membership exams with the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh and been accepted as a ‘Member in Endodontics’ with the Royal College of Surgeons England.

Alex lives in Bristol with his wife Emily and their son and enjoys all sports as well as everything Bristol life has to offer.
